About Us
Rwanda Fashion Models Union (RFMU) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting and promoting the modeling industry in Rwanda. Our mission is to advocate for the rights and well-being of models, provide opportunities for growth, and elevate the standards of the fashion industry.
We believe in the power of collaboration and community, working with local talent, industry professionals, and stakeholders to ensure that models are treated fairly and have access to opportunities that can lead to successful careers. RFMU also focuses on raising awareness about the challenges in the modeling world, advocating for better working conditions and the protection of model rights.
By organising events, promoting local talent, and contributing to the fashion and art scene, we aim to make Rwanda a hub for creative excellence. Our commitment to professionalism and opportunity drives everything we do.

Meet our Board Members

President / Chairman: Ally Mutabazi
Ally Mutabazi is the visionary leader of the Rwanda Fashion Models Union. With his extensive experience in the fashion industry, Ally is passionate about promoting and empowering models in Rwanda. His leadership and dedication are the driving forces behind our mission to create a thriving and inclusive fashion community.
Vice President: Irakoze Gratien
Irakoze Gratien is an experienced fashion industry professional who plays a crucial role in supporting our president and overseeing the union’s initiatives. His strategic thinking and commitment to our mission help guide the union towards achieving its goals.
Secretary: Hubert Didier Hakizimana
Hubert Didier Hakizimana serves as the diligent and organized secretary of our union. His expertise in administration and communication ensures that our operations run smoothly. Didier is dedicated to supporting our members and facilitating their growth within the industry.
Bord of Trustees: Jean Claude Mutuyimana
Jean Claude Mutuyimana is a respected member of our Board of Trustees. With his extensive background in the fashion sector, he provides valuable insights and guidance to help steer theu nion’s strategic direction.
Treasurer’s: Sandra Ingabire & Trevor Ntabwoba
Sandra Ingabire and Trevor Ntabwoba manage the financial aspects of our union. Their expertise in finance and dedication to transparency ensure that our resources are used effectively to support our mission and initiatives.
Trainer: Trevor Ntabwoba
Trevor Ntabwoba is our talented and experienced trainer. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to our training programs, helping models of all levels to improve their techniques and gain confidence on the runway. His commitment to excellence and his passion for fashion make him an invaluable member of our team. Our board members work tirelessly to support and uplift the fashion modeling community in Rwanda.
